About Fix Manchester
FIX is Manchester’s first Sauna & Ice Bath facility & is the first in the UK to offer guided contrast therapy sessions. They offer a range of guided and unguided experiences between the hot & the cold. Their guided experiences are mixed with breathwork, sound healing, mobility, reflexology, gua sha, visualisation, meditation & much more.
Why a Bespoke Ice Bath?
Every facility has its own layout, design intent, and usage requirements. Our bespoke ice baths are made to measure—created in the size, style, and materials that best suit the facility’s vision. For FIX, that meant collaborating on capacity, depth, filtration, and finish to ensure it fits both the physical space and the standards of aesthetic excellence the club holds.
CET worked closely with James Fielding in FIX’s double ice baths – fitting up to 8 people per bath. FIX supplied the framework, while CET designed and installed all of the technology including touchscreen operation, auto dosing and media filtration (using glass bead media rather than sand).
From a benefits perspective, this bespoke cold immersion solution helps reduce muscle fatigue, speed up recovery after intense sessions, limit inflammation, and contribute to overall wellness. Having a tailor-made installation means the bath also operates efficiently, reduces maintenance issues, and integrates seamlessly into the user’s experience.
