Entering the new millennium in Division One, Crystal Palace invested in their recovery strategy with their first CET CryoSpa in 2012 when they were still in the Championship. The players responded positively and ‘The Eagles’ earned their coveted Premier League status in 2013, defeating Watford in the Championship play-off final. With focus back in the spotlight in 2019, Crystal Palace affirmed their commitment to the CET brand with the addition of 2 further CryoSpa Sports for their training facility as well as a CryoSpa for their stadium. Manchester City FC
One of the leading clubs in Europe, Manchester City Football Club had installed there first CryoSpas at the Etihad Stadium back in 2011. Not to be outdone the very successful Ladies team had their recovery facilities upgraded this summer to include 3 CET CryoSpas.
Newport Gwent Dragons, Wales
In August of 2019 CET were back in Wales yet again, and this time it was the prolific ‘Newport Gwent Dragons’ rugby team who joined the recovery elite with their purchase of 2 CET CryoSpas. Cardiff City Training Ground, Wales
Fluctuating between the EFL championship and the premier league, Cardiff City took the bold, and somewhat strategic decision to invest in their training ground recovery suite with the installation of 3 CryoSpas. Leaving no stone unturned, the Club opted for both hot and cold Spas, purchasing 2 CryoSpa Sports and 1 Contrast Spa in June 2019. The (Contrast) Thermo Spa delivers temperatures of up to 40° C as opposed to the chilling capacity of down to 1° C, which the CryoSpa Sport delivers. We wish them much success.

With the New Year came good news for CET CryoSpas when chosen to supply 2 CryoSpa Sports for the new Japoma all-seater stadium in Cameroon. Welsh FA, Colliers Park
As the third-oldest national football association in the world, and with a newly appointed Ryan Giggs as Head coach, accelerated recovery was always going to be a priority for this formidable nation. With 4 CET CryoSpas installed in the all new Colliers Park training ground near Wrexham in June 2019, the Welsh team players can now enjoy post-match ice baths with superior chilling in the form of CET CryoSpas.
ALBA Berlin Basketball, Germany
ALBA Berlin is a prominent professional basketball club based in Berlin, Germany. Team physios recognise the therapeutic merits of cold-water immersion for players in a sport where ACL injuries are common. ACL injuries can occur during sports that involve sudden stops or changes in direction, jumping and landing — such as basketball. Ice baths are an effective treatment for ACL injuries, and therefore with its 20 targeted jets, continuous chilling and low maintenance, the CET CryoSpa was an obvious choice. Adler Mannheim, Germany
Adler Mannheim, supremoes of German ice-hockey, and a force to be reckoned with among ‘Eishockey Liga’ – the highest-level ice hockey league in Germany. Investing in their first CET CryoSpa back in 2016, the team were so impressed by the accelerated recovery aspect that they added a further 3 units, bringing their CET CryoSpa count up to 4! Manchester United
After the success of the CryoSpa Sports at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester United again chose CET when they were upgrading the First Team Changing Area at the Carrington based AON Training ground. Two specially designed CryoSpa Sports were installed to permit the chillers to be located on the roof two stories above the ground floor facility.
FC Schalke 04, Germany
Founded in 1904 and with their stadium in the Veltins-Arena, the German Bundesliga club added CET CryoSpas to their already substantive recovery offering. After the units were installed, Schalke physios offered a glowing testimonial, stating “Since its commissioning, the ice baths have been an essential part of the players’ regenerative measures and are being used extensively”. Red Star Football Club, also known as Red Star, is a French association football club founded in Paris in 1897 and is the second oldest French football club. The club currently plays in the Championnat National, the French third tier. Fortuna Dusseldorf, Germany
Fortune favours the brave! Fortuna Düsseldorf, the Bundesliga club returned to first-division football in 2018–19 followed the installation of a CryoSpa Sport ice bath. Rehabilitation and recovery plays a very important part in keeping the players injury free match ready for the next game. We’re thrilled to have them onboard with the CET brand.
The FA, Wembley Stadium
The English FA were having problems getting their cold spas serviced at Wembley Stadium and approached CET in the spring of 2017 to see if we could assist and we gladly obliged. By the summer they had decided to remove the poorly designed products and replace them with up to date CryoSpa Sports. CET designed special CryoSpas that could also be used from 1°C all the way up to 40°C to accommodate both Tottenham Hotspur’s requirements as well as the NFL American Football teams when they made their annual autumn trip to play at Wembley.
Manchester United
Our Team at CET were thrilled when the exalted Manchester United came calling just a month after installing two Cold Spas at Old Trafford. Within another month the recently installed cold spas were removed and replaced with two state of the art CryoSpa Sports to enhance further their already world-class recovery suites with the CET CryoSpa brand. Both Old Trafford and Carrington training grounds now boast of 2 CryoSpas each, ensuring the Team retain their long reigning Premier League status for many seasons to come.
